Revelations A Study. Section 12.
Each part of Revelations leads into the next section. Prophecy must be utilized to get the full meaning. In this section we will be useing many references and compairing scripture with scripture. I want to look at the Nations that Revelations speaks of; Rev 20:8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
Rev 17:15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues. Rev 20:8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number,(454,900,000 (EU-25)) of whom is as the sand of the sea. Revelations speaks of a great number that will gather together as the sands of the sea. Today we find the European Union trying to ratify a compact with all members and prospective members. This would form a singel Nation larger and stronger than the United States.
There are currently 25 member states in the European Union. Together with their dates of accession, these are:
Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Solvakia, Solvinia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom.
Acceding countries Bulgaria, Romania.
Candidate nations
Turkey, Norway, Switzerland, Croatia, Ukraine, & Republic of Macedonia. Probabel Members; China 1,306,313,812, Russia 143,420,309 Withholding Nation United States 295,734,134 Total 2,200,368,255. This does not include other non-aligned Nations nor will it ever include Israel
There are about 4-6 liters of blood in an average human body
Rev 16:16 And he gathered them together into a PLACE called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon. Armageddon;
"Mount of Megiddo": from a root gadad, "to cut off," i.e. "slaughter" (Rev_16:16)). The plain of Esdraelon, "the valley of Jehoshaphat", “the valley of Megiddo":
Rev 16:13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.
Rev 16:14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.
Rev 16:15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.
Frogs;The word is Egyptian; The three unclean spirits like frogs (Rev_16:13) symbolize
(1) "proud infidelity", opposing Christ and God, "out of the dragon's mouth";
(2) "the spirit of the world", whether lawless socialistic democracy or despotism, setting man above God, "out of the beast's mouth";
(3) "lying spiritualism", superseding the harlot and proceeding "out of the false prophet's mouth." Lets compare Joel with Revelations.
Joe 2:1 Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand;
Joe 2:2 A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.
Joe 2:3 A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them.
Joe 2:4 The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run.
Joe 2:5 Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array.
Joe 2:6 Before their face the people shall be much pained: all faces shall gather blackness.
Joe 2:7 They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks:
Joe 2:8 Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path: and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded.
Joe 2:9 They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief.
Joe 2:10 The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining:
Joe 2:11 And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?

Chapter 15:1 thru 16:21, The seven vials. Rev 15:1 thru Rev 15:8 is self explanitory. These verses are literial.
Rev 16:1 thru 16:12 are literial and self explanitory.
Rev 16:12 And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared. Rev 16:12 is an extremely important verse . This verse is literial but many try to make it out to be a spiritual meaning. We know that this is literial if we look at the maps of the region and the combatents involved. The Euphraties river has allready been damned by The King of Iraq.
Rev 16:13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

Rev 16:15 is a warning from Christ.
In ,Rev 16:16, “And he gathered them together” “into a place” “called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.” = The plain of Esdraelon, "the valley of Jehoshaphat", “the valley of Megiddo": There are many that mis-intrepret this verse. They are failing to see the key words, which are, 1.Gathered. 2. Into a Place. 3. Armageddon. Please take a little time and look up The plain of Esdraelon, "the valley of Jehoshaphat", & “the valley of Megiddo". Armageddon will be fought around these areas.
Rev 16:17 & Rev 16:18 are self explanitory and literial.
Rev 16:19 thru Rev 16:21 are literial.
Rev 16:19 And the great city[Jerusalem] was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.
Rev 16:20 And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.
Rev 16:21 And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great. [Ref; Isa_49:26, Isa_51:17-23; Jer_25:15, Jer_25:16, Jer_25:26] end section 12.

Chapter 17:1 thru 19:3, The judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters. The anti-christ, to try to defeat Jesus must take as many kingdoms as he can by force, to gain a great army. He also knows prophecy but still trys to change it. Rev 17:1 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters = :peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.
Rev 17:2 = A false sense of Power.
Rev 17:3 So he carried me away in the spirit = not in body, into the wilderness = of man: and I saw a woman {Dan_7:23;} sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads = seven mountains = seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come = {Dan_12:4, Dan_12:8-10; Hos_14:9; Mat_13:11, Mat_24:15}; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space, on which the woman sitteth.and ten horns = ten kings.
Rev 17:4 = Earthly Riches.
Rev 17:5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. = False religion. This introduces us to the one world religion that many Kings are speaking of today to help stop war.
Rev 17:6 thru 17:7 are Literial and self explanitory.
Rev 17:8 The beast = Satan, that thou sawest was, and is not = Satan is present but without power.; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition = Hell [Ref:Mar_9:44;] and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when {dont let this next line confuse you. Satan at this point “was” “But without Power”,”But His day hasnt come yet.”,}they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
Rev 17:11 thru Rev 17:14. Literial and self explanitory. The Ten Kings are the Kings, of this moment, of the ten kingdoms of the old Roman Empire. Which you have allready been given a list. The anti-christ makes war on ten kingdoms, he takes the first three by force and theother seven capitulate.Giveing the anti-christ power over all 10. And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.
Rev 17:16 And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire. [Very important References; Eze_16:37-44, Eze_23:45-49; Dan_2:40-43, Dan_7:7, Dan_7:8, Dan_7:20,Dan_7:24; Zec_1:18-21]
Rev 17:17 For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.
Rev 17:18 And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth. This last verse indicates that it is Rome. Why? Look at the wording; “great city”, which “reigneth” “over the kings of the earth”. Rome in scripture is always mentioned haveing great power and vast rule.In early Roman Hystory, the Pope of Rome ordered the Idols of Babylon, to be removed and brought to Rome and be re-dedicated to God. This act was against Scripture. Babylon, that mighty city. Rev 18:1 thru Rev 19:3 are literial and self explainitory. “I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.” “Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen” ”the merchants of the earth are waxed rich”
Rev 18:12 The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble,
Rev 18:13 And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men.
Rev 18:19 And they cast dust on their
heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great
city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason
of her costliness= the quality possessed by something with a great
price or value! for in one hour is she made desolate. The next
question most people ask is,”What City is Babylon?” Babylon
is not only a city but a religion. If we look close at the
description of the city we can eliminate 99% of all countries of the
world.
There are three destinct intrepretations of what the city is. The First is, Babylon Iraq, which still stand, thou in great ruin. The second is Rome with her controll of religion in many nations of the Earth. The Third, which I believe is most likely, is New York City. The Tradeing Center of the World. New York sea ports, financial institutions, N.Y.S.Exchange, Nasdac, ect. and trade centers. We will get into greator detail on the city in our study of Daniel. end section 13.

Chapter 19:4 thru 19:10, the marriage supper of the Lamb. These verses are literal and self explanatory. I will add no interpretation to them just a few references. Rev 19:4 And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God that sat on the throne, saying, Amen; Alleluia.
Rev 19:5 And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great.
Rev 19:6 And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.
Rev 19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife [the church] hath made herself ready. [ Rev_21:2, Rev_21:9; Psa_45:10-16; Son_3:11; Isa_62:5; Hos_2:19, Hos_2:20; Mat_22:2; Mat_25:1-10; 2Co_11:2; Eph_5:32
and his: Isa_52:1]
Rev 19:8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
Rev 19:9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.
Rev 19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
