The Above Pitchure is, what the Hebrews call, Har-Megedo. This is where the word Armogeddon comes from.

Revelations a Study. Section 1.

Lets look at the sections before we get into great detail. Section 1 includes, Chapter 1:1 threw 1:18. These verses deal with the Author of Revelations Jesus The Christ. Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand. As we are informed in this verse, reading and hearing the Book of Revelations is blessed, the Key word we must look at is “KEEP.”

[To hold; to restrain from departure or removal; not to let go of; to retain in one's power or possession; not to lose; to retain; to detain.] Revelations has yet to be fulfilled as many would like for the world to believe. Here we see Jesus commanding us to Posses and retain the words of this book. Revelations was not written just for a few and neither were the Letters to the seven Churches of Asia. Seven in scripture signifies a perfect number.

The seven Spirits, Here are different interpretations; Isaiah 11:2 The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord. A.1. The Spirit of the Lord

2. The Spirit of Wisdom.

3. The Spirit of Understanding.

4. The Spirit of Counsel.

5. The Spirit of Might.

6. The Spirit of Knowledge.

7. The Spirit of Fear of the Lord.

B.1. Spirit of Truth. John 15:26 2.Spirit of Power 2 Tim 1:7. 3. Spirit of Love. 2 Tim 1:7. 4. Spirit of Self-Discipline. 2 Tim 1:7. 5. Spirit of Wisdom. Deu 34:9. 6. Spirit of Judgment. Isa.4:4 7. Spirit of Life. Rev 11:11. Rev 5:6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. This next set is the one I most adhere to. C. 1.Wisdom, 2.Knowledge, 3.Understanding, 4.Love, 5.Faith, 6.Hope & 7. Charity.

Don't let this be confusing. The Seven Spirits of God are the seven attributes of The Holy Spirit, whom is God. If you noticed in C. These are working operations of the Spirit unto us. The things God wishes us to be or have. For example without wisdom and Knowledge you cannot have understanding.

We will cover the seven churches later in this study. Patmos; One of the Sporades. A small rugged island of the Icarian Sea, part of the Aegean; 20 miles S. of Samos, 24 W. of Asia Minor, 25 in circumference. The scene of John's banishment. The first section of Revelations deals with the divinity of ,”The Christ”.

Rev. 1:13 threw 16, gives us the true representation of Jesus. Rev 1:13-15. And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.

His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters. And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp two edged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.[Ref. Dan_8:18, Dan_10:6, Dan_10:10.] Verses 17 and 18, Jesus introduces Himself to John.

 Revelations, A Study. section 2.

Here in Section 2. Chapters, 1:16 threw 3:22. we will look at the sevens of Revelations. Lets take notice of Jesus giving a description of Himself in each letter. Rev. 1:19, Is a commandment of Jesus to John to write the things hereafter.

Rev 1:20 The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels [Ministers] of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches. The angels of the seven churches, are literal, Ministers, or Pastors. These angels are literal, Dan 10:13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.

Dan 10:20 Then said he, Knowest thou wherefore I come unto thee? and now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall come. ”Michael is the Angel of Israel.” Starting in Rev 2:1 we will take a look at the Seven Churches. Remember that Revelations is both, physical and Spiritual. Here are the Physical Churches. Definition of “UNTO”, [Middle English : un-, up to; see until + to, to; see to. Unto /Un´to/, conj. Until; till. [Obs.] ] Notice that the word unto, is mentioned in each letter to the Seven Churches.

These letters were written to the Angel [Minister] of each church. Why? Because the Pastor or Ministers of Churches have much to answer for and His direction must come from the Spirit. [James 3:1 My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.] [Mar 13:11 But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.]

"He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches” The Spirit of God is the one speaking to each Church and not the Angel. What is an Angel? 1. A MINISTER OR PASTOR OF A CHURCH, AS IN THE SEVEN ASIATIC CHURCHES. [ARCHAIC] 2. MESSENGER, A MESSENGER OF GOD. 3. A SPIRITUAL, CELESTIAL BEING, SUPERIOR TO MAN IN POWER AND INTELLIGENCE. IN THE SCRIPTURES THE ANGELS APPEAR AS GOD'S MESSENGERS. 4. Warier. 5.ATTENDANT

1.Ephesus. The city were worshipers of the false god Diana, full of congeries, witchcraft, Idolaters, ect. Now each church we see in these letters have some positive attributes ,we will concentrate on the bad. Rev 2:4 Nevertheless I have somewhat, [To some extent or degree] against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. The Church was not true to the teachings of Christ. “and will remove thy candlestick [ Minister] out of his place, except thou repent. " “out of his place” The Angel of Ephesus. When you remove the minister out of the church you loose Spiritual Guidance.

2.Smyrna. Smyrna ( The City) became a center for the cult of emperor worship. Only two churches, Smyrna and Philadelphia were true to Christ. Great persecution befell the Church and its angel was burned alive.

Rev 2:9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan. “the synagogue of Satan” This is what Christ called the Jews at this time. The Jews broke their own laws at the murder of the Angel of Smyrna. The Church still exists. 3.Pergamos. Antipas was murdered by the AEsculapiu worshipers. “Satan's seat”, The idol AEsculapius. Balaam - lord of the people; foreigner or glutton, the son of Beor.(Num. 31:8; comp. 16)(Deut. 23:4)(Num. 23:7).

Nicolaitans, Professing Christians who, introduce a false freedom, licentiousness. They embraced Idol worship. 4.Thyatira. Jezebel, Daughter of Ethbaal, Preistest, 2Ki 9:7 And thou shalt smite the house of Ahab thy master, that I may avenge the blood of my servants the prophets, and the blood of all the servants of the LORD, at the hand of Jezebel. 2Ki 9:22 ...the whoredoms of thy mother Jezebel and her witchcrafts are so many? “Bright and Morning Star”,

Rev 22:16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. Rev 2:22, “Bed”,The outer garment worn by day by the poor. Used to cover themselves and to sleep in. “Kill” literally. Here God threatens a great show of Force to put fear into the other churches. Not everyone at this church was involved with Jezebel hence Rev 2:24 But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden. 5.Sardis. Sardis was destroyed by an earthquake. Rev 3:4 “Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.” Only a few people were saved out of this church.

6.Philadelphia. Destroyed by Earthquake. Rebuilt This was the church of love.(Gibbon.) The Turks call it Allah Shehr, "city of God"; or rather, "beautiful ('alah) city." In Rev 3:9, Jesus promised them that He would make them, of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; come and worship before their feet, and to know that Jesus has loved their Church . These next two verses are prophecy. Lets read. Rev 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation [future tense], which shall come [future tense] upon all [every nation] the world, to try them that dwell [Live] upon the earth.

Rev 3:11 Behold, I come quickly: hold [maintain] that fast which thou hast [faith], that no man take [remove] thy crown. If it were not possible to fall away from salvation, this statement would not be written. Philadelphia was and still is a model church, well spoken of by Christ. Still exist.

7.Laodicea. Destroyed. A lukewarm church. Rich monetarily but poor Spiritually. All Jesus could do was warn them.

Descriptions of Christ in section 2. Eph 1:22 And hath put all things under his [Jesus] feet, and gave him [Jesus] to be the head over all things to the church, a.These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks.

B.These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass. c.The morning star. D. These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars. E.These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth. F.These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; [Col 1:15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature.]

Before we leave section 2.

We must cover a popular interpretation of The Seven Churches. If we look into history we can see a similarity between the Churches and the Church time lines. Churches ages. I wont get into times and dates for its most confusing at times and it leads to division among many. But as for the last two churches, Philadelphia and Laodicea, we see a resemblance between the descriptions of Christ of the two and the events of the last 200 years and today. If ever there was a time of lukewarmness in the Church it is today.

Zec 4:14 Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.[ The Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit] end section 2.

Revelations a Study. section 3.

Section 3 chapters,4:1 threw 5:14. John translated into the Throne room of God. No matter whom you may ask, you would probable get many different interpretations of the Book of Revelations.

My attempt is to give you an insight into prophecy, spiritualism, parables and physical realizations in this book. In the first few verses in Chapter 4 we see a number of different things, 1. a door was opened in heaven 2. And immediately I was in the spirit 3. a throne was set in heaven 4. one sat on the throne. #1. is spiritual and physical. Just as when God opens up a door for you into areas of this world that were once closed to you and two physical, for Heaven is real.

#2. is also both spiritual and physical, transfiguration from the body to spirit. It happened often in scripture. For example 2Ki 2:1 And it came to pass, when the LORD would take up Elijah into heaven by a whirlwind, that Elijah went with Elisha from Gilgal. Gen 5:24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him. #3. A Throne is physical. #4.The Lord God Almighty. Physical The 24 Elders and 24 Thrones. He saw four-and-twenty seats round about the throne, not empty, but filled with four-and-twenty elders, presbyters.

The Twelve Disciples and 12 Leaders of the Church in Old Testament Times. John sees a place of honour for them before the throne of God.[Presbytery The Bible (From Greek a—biblia, meaning "books", which in turn is derived from —byblos meaning "papyrus", from the ancient Phoenician city of Byblos which exported papyrus) is the sacred scripture of Christianity. The Old Testament, or Hebrew Bible. An elder of the congregation in the early Christian church. A bishop is an ordained person who holds a specific position of authority in any of a number of Christian churches. The Throne Room is described by John. This is physical. The Sea of Glass = Purity. The Rainbow represents the covenant between God and Noah.

The four beasts full of eyes before and behind. The number represents the Four Gospels. Which are the basis of Gods Salvation for Man. 7. And the first beast was like a lion, (Courage) and the second beast like a calf (Sacrifice), and the third beast had a face as a man (Wisdom), and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle (Strength). The eyes around and about represent all knowledge of not only of mankind but of self. Self evaluation; Matthew 7;5."Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

8.And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.

These are not the same as the four beasts as described in Daniel 7:2.

Chapter 5:1-14. Verse 3. And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon. “no man” according to the flesh, alive, dead, translated or transformed. in heaven, in earth, or under the earth The Lion of the tribe of Juda. Jesus. (Gen. 49:8 Judah, thou art he whom thy brethren shall praise: thy hand shall be in the neck of thine enemies; thy father' children shall bow down before thee. 9Judah is a lion' whelp: from the prey, my son, thou art gone up: he stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up? 10The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be .

11Binding his foal unto the vine, and his ass' colt unto the choice vine; he washed his garments in wine, and his clothes in the blood of grapes:

12.His eyes shall be red with wine, and his teeth white with milk.). The Root of David, According to prophecy spiritual and not physical. Seven eyes = the seven Spirits of God. Seven horns = Crowns.(Power, Riches, Wisdom, Strength, Honor, Glory, Blessing) From the Hand of God. 7.And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne. Verse 10, a promise.

Verse 13.And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever. Prophecy. Phill. 2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Revelations is full of symbolism, we must compare scripture with scripture, especially within the old testament. end section 3.

Revelations a Study. section 4.

In section 4, we will see a lot of symbolism. Section 4. Chapters 6:1 threw 7:1. The Lamb {Jesus the Christ} opening the seals, only 6 seals are opened in this section.

The first seal. The White Horse. Rev 6:2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer. Rev. 6:2 is not speaking of Jesus but of the anti-Christian elements. This is the same as the other three horsemen. If you noticed in Rev.6:2 we see a rider with a BOW. In scripture Jesus is never described as having a bow but only a sword.

The second thing we see here is ”a crown was given unto him” this designates that the rider before was never in power until it was granted him. The second Seal. The Red Horse.

Rev 6:4 And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword. This verse again does not speak of Jesus. This line speaks for itself as not being Jesus.“power was given to him“ Jesus is power and has no need to be given it. This next verse shows, war and hatred among mankind, the word sword designates war.

The ability to make war was given unto him.“to take peace from the earth, that they should kill one another, was given unto him a great sword.” The third Seal. The Black Horse. Rev 6:5 And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. [A measure: “The word choenix signifieth a measure containing one wine-quart and the twelfth part of a quart.”] The Black Horseman is a prelude to the pale horse. In verse 6:6 we see the phrase,”hurt not the oil and the wine.” This is the main staple of Israel.

“A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny” Food at this time will cost a days wages. The word Penny, designates wages. “wheat & barley” designates materials that are used in making bread but here they also designate food.

The fourth Seal. The Pale Horse. The word “pale” signifies death.

Rev 6:8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth. Hab 2:5 Yea also, because he transgresseth by wine, he is a proud man, neither keepeth at home, who enlargeth his desire as hell, and is as death, and cannot be satisfied, but gathereth unto him all nations, and heapeth unto him all people:. Reference.Eze_5:15-17, Eze_14:13-21. In this phrase we see 2 spiritual beings. ”power was given unto them ”

“the fourth part of the earth' “25 %” will fall by starvation, war and beasts. Those that have refused God. “Hell followed with him.” Destination.

Rev 6:9 threw 6:11 is speaking of those who were martyred then and now and those to come. Today there are many that are being killed for their testimony of Jesus. Day after day I receive mail telling of Christians being killed for passing out Bibles or witnessing about Jesus. Prophecy is being fulfilled. Rev 6:9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: This phrase is future prophecy.

“until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.” Reference. Rev_7:14, Rev_13:15, Rev_17:6; Mat_10:21, Mat_23:34, Mat_23:35; Joh_16:2; Heb_11:40.

Those awaiting Justice.”How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?”

Isa 26:21 For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain. Isa 29:6 Thou shalt be visited of the LORD of hosts with thunder, and with earthquake, and great noise, with storm and tempest, and the flame of devouring fire.

The sixth Seal. The great day of Wrath Rev 6:17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; the stars of heaven fell unto the earth mountain and island were moved

These are literal; A great earthquake; The sun becoming black,The moon becoming as blood; mountains and islands are moved, the heaven departs as a scroll.

Rev 6:13 “And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth.” Stars = Fallen angels, being removed from the third heaven. Reverences;Eze_32:7; Dan_8:10.

Rev 6:15 Shows that there is no difference between man in the eyes of God. end section 4.

Chapter 7:2 threw 7:8 The sealing of the hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel. The first question we will look at is the word seal. Why and what is the meaning? Seal; Sphragis Sfrag-ece'

Probably strengthened from G5420; A signet (as fencing in or protecting from misappropriation); by implication the stamp impressed (as a mark of privacy, or genuineness), literally or figuratively. The Sealing of the 144,000 is representative or should we say parallel to the mark of the beast, only by God on His chosen. There are many similarities between Satan's Kingdom and the Kingdom of God. If you look close you will see The Trinity of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost and in parallel you will see Satan,

The Beast and the False prophet.

You will also see when God seals His chosen from each tribe of Israel you will also see Satan marking His members. You may ask,”Does Satan really have a Kingdom?” The answer is yes, its scriptural. Do I also have proof of these things, yes, we will look at each as we progress into our study. The 144,000 are sealed Jews that will preach the Gospel to each tribe of Israel. [ref; Eze_47:13, Eze_48:19, Eze_48:31; Zec_9:1]

Verse 7:1 is speaking of a plague about to be poured upon the earth. Each plague is real, there is no symbolism here. Rev 7:1 And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth,[North,South,East and West.] holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. The wind is an extremely important factor in our ability to breath and controls the rains.

Rev 7:2 And I saw another angel ascending[coming up from] from the east, having the seal of the living God:... [The mark of the Most High, as per a king and his mark on official documents] ...and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea,

Now If you have noticed each angel that is mentioned has a specific position to fulfill and maintain. This is the pattern that Jesus has set down for His Church. [Ref; 1Co 12:5 And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.

1Co 12:6 And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.]

Rev 7:3 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. The plagues will not start until the sealing of the 144,000.

Rev 7:4 And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel. [ref; Rev_14:1, Rev_14:3] As for the tribes of Israel there are actually 13 to speak of.

The Tribes; Juda, Reuben, Gad, Aser, Nepthalim, Manasses, Simeon, Levi,

Issachar, Zabulon, Joseph, Benjamin. Can you see the one thats missing from this list? Its the Tribe of Dan. [Ref; Exo_1:2-4; Num_1:4-15, Num_10:14-27, Num_13:4-16.] The Levi Tribe is actually not a tribe but an administration of Religious matters, The Priest of the other twelve tribes. [Ref; Gen 49:16

Dan shall judge his people, as one of the tribes of Israel.

Gen 49:17 Dan shall be a serpent by the way, an adder in the path, that biteth the horse heels, so that his rider shall fall backward.]
